Our 2019 Photography Competition theme has been announced!

We invite all amateur photographers, school groups and clubs to take part in our annual Eden Whale Festival Photography Competition and Exhibition.

Our Seaside Town
is the theme of this year’s competition. It’s a theme with lots of scope to capture the beauty and diversity of Eden’s glorious coastal location and the diversity of the township and its people.

Eden is a vibrant seaside town with a rich built and natural environment. We want to see our township, its heritage and its magnificent natural setting showcased through the lens of your camera.

A sub-theme of Show us Your Whales is also a part of the competition because, after all, they are the stars of the festival!

There are three (3) categories for this year’s competition and prizes will be awarded in all categories.

Categories are as follows:

Adult Open
Youth (13-18 years)
Junior (12 & under)

Thanks to our generous sponsors, the Eden Lioness Club, and Harvey Norman at Tura Beach there is $600 in prizes to be given away.

There’s also an additional prize of tuition with professional photographer Phill Small to be awarded to one lucky photographer.

Entry conditions and prize amounts are found in the Photography Competition Entry Form found on our Forms page. Entries close Monday 28 October 2019.

We’re excited about seeing your stunning images telling the stories of our Seaside Town!

Have you checked out our Festival Program yet? It’s packed full of fun!
