Our big event is November 2-4 but we have a busy October full of fundraisers and pre-festival events. Attend these great events and support the Eden Whale Festival!

Movies at the Museum – The Big Screen comes to Eden!

The Eden Killer Whale Museum has a great little theatre and they are sharing it with us to host 2 movie fundraisers!

More than just movies, there will be door prizes, ice cream, popcorn and beverages!

Thanks to Eden Bedding and Furniture, we are also going to amp up the museum’s current sound and picture system to give you the full theatre experience!

Admission fee

Kids $10
Adults $15

Including refreshments and popcorn or ice cream.

October 12th 3:30pm – Wrinkle in Time

Following the discovery of a new form of space travel as well as Meg’s father’s disappearance, she, her brother, and her friend must join three magical beings – Mrs. Whatsit, Mrs. Who, and Mrs. Which – to travel across the universe to rescue him from a terrible evil. Rated PG.

October 20th 7:30pm – Sweet Country

Australian western set on the Northern Territory frontier in the 1920s, where justice itself is put on trial when an aged Aboriginal farmhand shoots a white man in self-defense and goes on the run as a posse gathers to hunt him down. MA 15+

Kite Making Workshops

October 20th at Eden Community Market from 9:30am

Fundraiser Golf Day

Saturday October 20th 11:00am

Tee off in a friendly game of golf to raise money for the Eden Whale Festival.

The 11am shot gun start heralds a competitive but friendly 4 person Ambrose with a few surprises along the way and a snack at the end.

Cost is $20 per person or $80 per team. Prizes to the winning team, nearest the pin, nearest the line. Nail a hole in one and win a the big prize soon to be announced.

Our own John Spencer designed the Eden Gardens Golf Course. This is a par 71, 5706 meter 18-hole course which was once described by one golf journalist as ‘the Augusta National of the Sapphire Coast’.

Sponsored by IMB and supported by Eden Gardens Pro Shop, the Ladies and Gentlemen Golfers of Eden and Komatsu.

Eden Lionesses Open Gardens

Saturday October 27th + Sunday October 28th

The Eden Lioness Club have created a spectacular program, the gardens will be open from 10am to 4pm  for everyone to enjoy.

Each garden is different in its theme and layout and provide inspiration for those who visit them.

Wander through the most beautiful gardens in and around Eden at this very popular weekend event. This year features new gardens as well as old favorites.

Hosted by the Eden Lioness Club, tickets and maps are available after 9am from the Eden Lioness Tent alongside the Eden Gateway Holiday Park.

Cruise on the Cat Balou

Come and join us for a 2 hour cruise on board the Cat Balou.
BYO drinks and enjoy a relaxing afternoon of live music and nibbles.
This cruise is for those aged 18 years and over.
